On January 6th we left a cold Edmonton and took a flight to Los Angeles. After we arrived we explored Downtown Disney. We spent the days of Jan. 7, 8 and 9 in Disneyland and California Adventures. For Christmas it was just Afsheen and I and we had a nice relaxing time. On Christmas Eve day I made a beef brisket. It took all day so we didn’t get to eat it for supper but had it afterwards. It was quite tasty. On Christmas Day we saw the new Jumangi with Afsheen’s parents. It was quite fun. It was the second time I had watched it! The theatre was quite busy. After saving up some gift money and a Black Friday sale I was able to buy a new camera body. I got a Nikon D7500. I took some random photos with it. After Christmas for a break Afsheen and I went to Las Vegas. For shows we saw Penn and Teller and a Cirque Du Soleil show called Ka. We quite enjoyed both shows. We ate well and tried a variety of restaurants. We gambled a little bit and made a little money! We did some outlet shopping. We went to the Mob museum and did some CSI work.
