This past Thursday, Silvacom held a family BBQ at the Edmonton Valley zoo. We had the place to ourselves. We had some good food and then walked around the zoo some. It was quite hot out!
The zoo gave us an animal talk about their wolves. For the talk they took the wolf on a leash to some water for it to play in and talk about her. While the talk was going on the other wolf in its enclosure quite far away was howling most of the time. It was a fun time.
This past week Afsheen and I went to Tucson to visit my parents. We had a good trip. The weather was nice and warm almost too warm!
We did a lot of things. We went to a botanical gardens, to the desert museum, to the air and space museum, to the miniature musuem, to a Franklin car museum and more.
We also enjoyed a lot of good food.
This past weekend Lindsay and Derek were in town. Along with Sabin and Sarah and their kids we went to the ice castle.
It was quite a bit different than last time. There were 3 different ice slides and lots of neat structures.
In August we went to the Telus World of Science to see the Pixar exhibition. It was quite fun. Afsheen got to see a life size WALL-E!
