We had a lovely summer vacation this year. We went to Europe. Our trip ran from June 28 to July 17, 2026.
We flew from Edmonton with a stop in Halifax and then to Paris. We spent a few days in Paris and did things such as a river cruise, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We enjoyed the food and the different sights. After exploring Paris for a bit we took a train just outside of Paris and did Disneyland Paris! We did lots of rides, met characters, watched shows and ate lots of good food. We stayed at the Marvel Hotel!
From Paris we flew to Barcelona and met up with Nana and Nani to do a cruise.

Each day we had a stop in a different city. We did things like horse carriage tours of the town, walking around, aquariums, zoos and even a beach day. On the boat we would spend time in the pool and eat. We had some special meals: Brazilian BBQ, Japanese teppanyaki and a steakhouse dinner.
When we ended in Lisbon, we spent a couple of days there and did the zoo, cable car, hop-on-hop-off bus and more.
On our flight back we had a long layover in Halifax. We rented a car and went to see the Public Gardens, see the harbour, have a nice lunch and of course ice cream. We had ice cream pretty much every day. The weather was hot in Europe but not extremely hot, and we had a great time.
